We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our small and dynamic team at the pilot plant. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the scale-up of innovative technologies within a leading global company. You will be directly involved in projects focused on enhancing our production processes through improved inline viscosity measurement and the optimization of inline mixing of thickening agents. This internship is scheduled to start on 01.09.2026 for a duration of minimum 6 months . The role requires a minimum commitment of 4-5 days per week . This role is fully on-site and the location is our Pilot Plant in Leiden.
Responsibilities
Conduct trials on pilot-scale equipment to assess the performance of different measurement and mixing setups.
Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data.
Assist in the design and execution of experiments related to inline viscosity measurement techniques.
Investigate and evaluate different types of inline viscometers for suitability in our processes.
Contribute to the development and optimization of inline mixing strategies for thickening agents.
Required:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
Fluency in English is required.
Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
Skills you need to succeed:
