Role and responsibilities
As a PMO Officer you are positioned as an independent team member of a business team that is responsible for the development or maintenance & improvement of our state-of-the-art lithography machines. As a PMO Officer you are responsible for;
Challenging the triple constraint (scope, timing, budget) as a recognized business partner, to optimize business value
Driving effective decision making on all levels as a trusted 'advisor' of the Product Development Manager and his/her cross sectoral Product Team
Implementing and improving project (program) standards and processes, e.g. related to project planning, financial management, product generation process, reporting, change control, risk management and quality. You are the one preparing and facilitating progress reviews and key decision meetings and actively follow-up on agreements made during these meetings
Providing guidance during the financial forecasting (budget) process and proactively assisting regular financial management and reporting
Pro-actively connecting , enabling and challenging all stakeholders. Next to that, you will inform and guide other PMO Project Officers about the status and progress of the Product and what they should focus on
Driving completeness of all inputs from deciders in the product generation process
Growing people and the team competences of PMO and ASML's Project Management community, e.g. by driving, participating, leading & implementing cross-PMO improvement projects
Education and experience
Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Project Management, Engineering or other relevant fields
At least 5 years of working experience as PM(O) expert or practical experience as a project manager in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment
Experience with implementation of change and improvement projects
Experience with MS Project Online or a similar tool
Experience working with a complex stakeholder landscape is preferred
Strong English communication skills both written and oral
