LVA Health Outcomes and Medical Engagement; HEALTH OUTCOMES LIAISON Purpose: The demand for high quality health economic and outcomes research (HEOR) and real-world evidence (RWE) to support drug development, health technology assessment/access decisions, product differentiation, and clinical decision making continues to increase. The purpose of the LVA Health Outcomes and Medical Engagement (HOME) team is to accelerate equitable patient access and transform healthcare delivery through the execution and communication of bold, high impact science. We are looking for talented, energetic, creative, diverse, influential, and collaborative team members to join our team. The Health Outcomes Liaison (HOL) embodies this purpose by serving as the medical and HEOR interface between Lilly and U.S. population-based decision makers (PBDMs) including payers, health systems, research institutions, and policy makers. The HOL role provides answers to customer questions with clinical evidence, HEOR, and RWE to support formulary access and pathways/guidelines decisions impacting millions of patients. The HOL is acutely attuned to therapeutic evidence gaps, understands environmental trends, and anticipates stakeholder evidence needs. The HOL also works cross-functionally to provide external insights to influence strategy- especially the HEOR research agenda. The HOL role is a key component of meeting customer needs and improving patient outcomes for Lilly. The HOL role is dynamic given the complex and ever-changing US healthcare system, continuous innovation in the medical and pharmaceutical industry, and advances in health information technology and real-world data. Primary responsibilities include customer engagement and evidentiary support while also enabling collaborations that improve patient outcomes, accelerate equitable patient access, and transform healthcare delivery. This entails serving as Lilly's field medical and HEOR point of contact for population-based decision makers. In all circumstances it is incumbent upon the HOL to conduct their activities in compliance with relevant procedures and from a medical perspective independent of commercial influence. Key activities in this role include the following: Customer Engagement Independently cultivate and manage relationships with PBDMs, acting as the primary point of contact and collaborating closely with other field roles to ensure a cohesive and aligned approach to stakeholder engagement Proactively deliver and leverage scientific and value evidence and education (e.g., trial data, RWE, HEOR including observational research, comparative effectiveness, and pharmacoeconomic data) to build and sustain engaging, long-term relationships with PBDMs, ensuring their needs are met across the portfolio Synthesize, communicate, and translate complex information packages and/or data into transparent, relevant, objective, and actionable evidence, fostering trust and long-term engagement with PBDMs by addressing their strategic needs and supporting informed decision-making related to formulary access and pathways / guideline decisions across portfolio Develop and execute medical/scientific and value strategy collaborating with internal and field-based medical and commercial partners to deliver exceptional customer experiences Provide deep medical /value expertise tailored to the needs of PBDMs including opportunities for clinical optimization or collaboration on medical topics Proactively utilize and tailor new relevant content to strategically meet and anticipate PBDMs medical and value needs, demonstrating expert knowledge on the latest trends and population health data to enhance decision-making and foster continuous collaboration Evidentiary Support & Innovative Collaborations Develop and maintain deep knowledge of clinical, analytic, environmental, and account-level considerations to facilitate mutually beneficial research collaborations and value-based arrangements (VBAs) from a medical lens Identify opportu
