We seek innovators who actively use AI to amplify their impact and who thrive in an environment where we leverage intelligent systems to stay ahead of evolving threats. We believe in transparency and value constructive, honest debate -we're focused on getting to the best ideas, faster. We build high-performing teams that can make an impact quickly and with high quality. To do this, we are building a culture of execution centered on customer obsession , collaboration, ownership, and accountability. We value high-impact, high-accountability with a sense of urgency where you're enabled to do your best work and embrace your potential. If you're driven by purpose, thrive on solving complex challenges, and want to be part of the team that's helping to secure the AI age, we invite you to bring your talents to Zscaler and help shape the future of cybersecurity. We are looking for a Senior Learning Designer to join our Costa Rica team in-office, reporting to the Senior Director, Talent Development within the People & Culture organization. You'll be empowered to craft high-impact instructional content that creates real business value, elevates employee capability, and strengthens our culture. What You'll Do (Role Expectations) Design for Impact: Design, develop, and land global and regional learning solutions with a focus on adult learning principles, utilizing robust needs analyses to drive instructional strategy and deliver measurable business impact. Agile Development: Operate across both strategic and tactical levels to co-create, launch, iterate, and optimize diverse learning modalities (eLearning, ILT, vILT, microlearning) wherever needed. Deliver Excellence: Build trust through consistent, high-quality execution and instructional excellence that ensures all learning materials align with our mission and values. Manage Projects: Proactively communicate concise, action-based updates while surfacing design risks and project progress early to maintain momentum. Who You Are (Success Profile) You thrive in ambiguity. You're comfortable building the learning path as you walk it. You thrive in a dynamic environment, seeing ambiguity not as a hindrance, but as the raw material to build something meaningful. You are a high-trust collaborator. You are ambitious for the team, not just yourself. You embrace our challenge culture by giving and receiving ongoing feedback-knowing that candor delivered with clarity and respect is the truest form of teamwork and the fastest way to earn trust. You are a learner. You have a true growth mindset and never stop developing yourself, actively seeking feedback to become a better partner and a stronger teammate. You love what you do and you do it with purpose. You are a positive force. You approach hard problems with constructive energy and a 'can-do' spirit that is contagious, inspiring your team to stay focused on the solution. You think at scale. You connect your day-to-day instructional design work to the larger company mission and think globally. You build learning solutions, content, and frameworks that are not just effective today but are built to last and support a high-growth, global organization. What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications) Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or curriculum development in corporate or high-growth environments. Scale & Delivery: Demonstrated ability to design and deliver large-scale, global learning initiatives with measurable business outcomes and strong project management capabilities. Collaboration: Proven track record of breaking down silos to collaborate with senior leaders, SMEs, and diverse global teams, driving shared ownership of learning outcomes and fast results. Communication: Direct communication style that brings clarity, handles ambiguity effectively, and balances high-level educational strategy with tactical design details.
