The role holder's primary objective is to play the role of the Release Manager for the enterprise Data Platforms in Corporate Functions Technology. This role will work closely with our Data Platform Leads/Change Managers to ensure that the Data Changes are delivered appropriately whilst complying with all audit, compliance and regulatory requirements. Accountabilities/Responsibilities Accountable for scheduling of release activities, ensuring efficient platform transitions. Accountable for facilitating interdepartmental collaboration for effective release execution. Accountable for delivering regular, high-quality releases following Agile methodologies and best practices. Accountable to ensure IT environments (like Test, Dev, Pre-prod and Prod) are properly managed, governed, and coordinated so they are "fit for purpose". Responsible for providing support for development and production issues, including performance problems. Responsible for engaging portfolios leads proactively, ensuring alignment through all lifecycle stages. Responsible for collaborating with portfolio leads and teams for continuous and strategic release planning. Responsible for administering logistic suite development using Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence). Key Stakeholder Management Internal Finance Accounting Finance Actuarial Corporate Functions technology Risk & Compliance External Software Suppliers External Consultants Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Educational Qualification Knowledge & Skills (Key): Should have thorough understanding of Agile and DevOps concepts. Should have Azure DevOps skills and knowledge of Azure Fundamental. Basic understanding of Git/Bitbucket. Basic understanding of Bash/Powershell scripting. Knowledge and Skills (Desirable): Experience in working follow the sun model. Experience in ITIL guiding principles. Good knowledge of support tools used (Service Now, JIRA, Confluence, CMDB).
