VP - Application Integration & Middleware

Essential Responsibilities: (20 %) Strategy - Develop and partner with key business lines/stakeholders and IT resources to develop joint strategic roadmaps. Integration solutions should support business goals while delivering speed, efficiency, and security. Conduct regular roadmap reviews with partner IT and business units to ensure full coverage across the project portfolio. (20 %) Delivery - Drives delivery and continuous improvement by utilizing feedback and metrics to identify areas of opportunity. Leverage industry proven frameworks to deliver continuous improvement and support enterprise priorities. (15 %) Innovation - Promote and develop a culture which embraces technology innovation. Staying up to date on current trends and emerging technology solutions. Provide training opportunities for leadership and staff to ensure teams are prepared for the future. (15 %) Organizational Alignment - Partner with leaders across the organization in development of overall roadmap strategy. Establishing ongoing relationships to ensure balance between Technology and SECU business line initiatives/roadmap. Maintain a large focus on organization change management/readiness, including effective challenges to legacy processes and practices. Support the modernization of technologies and solutions. (15 %) Vendor Management - Build and maintain strong vendor relationship with current and potential engagements. Ensure team is effectively managing key relationships. Hold vendors accountable to defined SLA and contractual commitments, while maintaining professional working relationship. Responsible for financial management of vendor engagements and recurring cost. (15 %) Management/Coaching - Provide direct people management, coaching, and mentorship to members of Enterprise Integration team. Ensure associates receive proper training, development opportunities, and effective and timely feedback. Required Education & Experience (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities): Minimum education: Bachelor's Degree Minimum 7 direct years of experience, plus an additional 1 year in a supervisory, lead or mentor role Preferred Education & Experience (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities): Preferred education: Bachelor's Degree or higher Preferred 2 direct years of experience people managing a team of 5+ application development resources Job Environment & Physical Requirements: Hybrid work environment with at least 2 days a week in office Sitting for prolonged periods Computer usage for prolonged periods Telephone usage for prolonged periods After hours escalation support SECU provides equal employment opportunity to all qualified persons regardless of race, color, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, genetic information, disability, veteran status, or other classification protected by law.
