University degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Control or Computer Engineering
Embedded software development experience, Embedded C skills
Knowledge and experience in Functional Safety
Experience with Automotive is advantage
Experience with software development process and quality standards is advantage
Pragmatic person with own proactivity to solve the incoming issues, high independency level
Willingness and ability to learn new stuff, trends
Team player to keep excellent team spirit and information sharing
Good level of English and communication

Functional Safety
Functional Safety in Automotive is described by ISO 26262 standard (see e.g. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_26262 ). It is nowadays mandatory for each microcontroller / electronic system in Automotive. Our software solutions implement complex Safety Concept designed for a particular microcontroller where we can fully use our advantage of the microcontroller vendor to choose between HW / SW solution to achieve higher efficiency a flexibility.
NXP provides large portfolio of suitable microprocessors and microcontrollers supported with Functional Safety software to be used directly by our customers in their electronic control units. Examples of such software can be Core Self-Test Library ( https://www.nxp.com/scst ) and Safety Software Framework ( https://www.nxp.com/saf ).
