What You Will Do Here: Lantech operators are responsible for performing all tasks involved in packaging product according to plan. This includes: performing basic, routine equipment maintenance and cleaning on everything in the area of responsibility; keep machines stocked with raw materials and work with all personnel regarding raw material quality; perform visual inspections of all finished products being moved and/or loaded onto outbound trucks; identify unacceptable product conditions and initiate corrective action; work closely with all team members, supervisors and leadership to identify, report and correct quality issues, productivity improvements, or cost reduction initiatives; and assist maintenance personnel in the troubleshooting, repair, or preventive maintenance of equipment. What You Need to Succeed: - High School Diploma or GED certificate - Basic computer skills - Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position - Ability to operate all tooling and machinery required to perform required job duties - Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and quality of finished material - Troubleshoot and resolve problems during day-to-day production. Understand escalation process and react accordingly and in a timely fashion - Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills - Ability to dependably work a rotating shift schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
