[What the role is] Lecturer/Senior Lecturer (Academic Development) - School of Engineering [What you will be working on] Design, develop and deliver applied Statistics, Electronics, Design Thinking, Business Innovation, and/or entrepreneurship curricula to students. Perform academic, administrative and other related duties as assigned. Mentor and guide students in both academic and personal development. #LI-Hybrid [What we are looking for] A recognised tertiary qualification in Engineering or Statistics. At least 2 years of relevant work/industrial experience in a related field, preferably involving applications of Statistics, Electronics, Design Thinking or Entrepreneurship. Possess relevant knowledge and skills in the following areas: Design and development of curricula in applied Statistics, Electronics, Design Thinking, Business Innovation, and/or entrepreneurship Pedagogy and effective teaching/assessment practices, including design thinking and project-based learning Good IT skills and competency in working with online learning platforms and educational technology Use of Excel for data analysis, reporting and instructional support Strong communication and good interpersonal skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and multi-task. Candidates who are conversant in blended learning, tech-enabled teaching tools, design thinking, entrepreneurship and project-based learning will have an advantage.
