Job Description Job Summary: The International Air Creation Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling, and documentation associated with air‑based shipping, movement, and logistics activities. This role ensures accurate creation of air shipment records, compliance with regulatory requirements, and efficient coordination between internal teams, carriers, and freight service providers. The position supports timely execution of air transport operations while maintaining high accuracy and customer service levels. Job Responsibilities: (Primary Duties, Roles, and/or Authorities) Schedule air shipments and coordinate flight bookings with freight forwarders, carriers, and third‑party logistics providers. Monitor shipment status to ensure on‑time dispatch, transit, and delivery. Communicate with customs partners and regulatory agencies to ensure all air shipments meet federal and international compliance requirements. Collaborate with Operations, Transportation, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Carrier Management teams to resolve issues and maintain high service levels. Produce daily, weekly, and monthly air‑shipment activity reports for internal stakeholders. Arrange for pick-ups with assigned freight forwarders. Coordinate with customs, brokers, and FDA for the traceability of import and export shipments. Process FedEx, DHL, UPS, and Express Mail shipments and if appropriate, requests FedEx SEDs. Provide detailed monthly report of activity with international carriers and customers. Process customer orders. Oversee all paperwork associated with all orders and maintain the corresponding files. Operate within ERP, TMS, and WMS system. Maintain import documentation records for international transportation. Coordinate carrier planning and/or special, last minute shipping requests with Transportation and Operations Departments, expediting any order as necessary . Schedule shipments in a timely and accurate manner. Become knowledgeable of the responsibilities of the other distribution positions to assist in times of urgency, breaks, absences, or vacation. Education and Experience: High School diploma or GED, required. 1+ year of relevant experience, preferred. Knowledge and Skills: Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems (ERP).Good verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment. Ability to read and interpret distribution documents. Basic analytical, organizational and prioritization skills. General distribution knowledge.
