Senior Program Advisor

About the role

As a Senior Program Advisor, you will have the primary responsibility for developing, managing, and coordinating all aspects of the energy program consistent with the agency Annual Work Plan and other agency funding mechanisms. You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience for the GS-13, you must have one year (full 52 weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes: - Experience developing, implementing, and managing program policies and procedures related to energy projects in rural Alaska. - Serving as a senior advisor and representative for agency programs. Specialized Experience for the GS-12, you must have one year (full 52 weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position is defined as: - Experience independently supporting and managing assigned energy program areas or projects. - Experience coordinating program activities and communicating with internal staff and external partners.
