Essential Responsibilities
Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations
Collaborates with the process improvement team and in consultation with Executive Leadership, for the creation and implementation of best practice Lean vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
Contributes to new health system initiatives and projects; reviews and communicates the impact on Lean activities.
Independently works as an internal consultant, mentor, and team leader to develop people to solve problems, promote Lean thinking and foster a continuous improvement culture throughout the organization.
Reports on progress of projects, understanding the risks, dependencies, budgets, resourcing, issues, critical milestones and forthcoming outcomes, and actions necessary to ensure success.
Reports on achievement of targets and identifies any actions required.
Coaches and facilitates teams in monthly 5-Day Lean Kaizen events and projects using A3 Thinking methodology for problem-solving.
Leads by example in use of Lean concepts, tools & techniques to drive continuous improvement and achieve long-term sustainment and promote an organizational cultural transformation.
Coaches process owners on A3, Kaizen (Lean) events, daily management system (DMS), implementation of completion plans, and sustainment of Lean events.
Identifies relevant process and financial measures from which to assess process improvement outcomes.
Researches current best process improvement practice(s) to be utilized in process improvement projects and Kaizen (Lean) events.
Presents information, such as data driven analysis and reports, methods, and other results in a logical and understandable format to a wide variety of audiences.
Moves multiple high priority projects forward simultaneously and is accountable for projects/performance; anticipates potential problems, issues, needs and proactively addresses or elevates to Director of Process improvement.
Develops, implements, and manages key performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility.
Develops and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance.
