Role Summary : In this role, you will apply and continue to develop electrical systems knowledge to deliver solutions that support our customers. You will grow your technical capabilities through hands-on work, collaboration, and exposure to new technologies, expanding your impact as customer needs evolve over time. What You'll Do (Job Duties)- Shelley will fill out based upon Priority Directly support both factories and current customers with electrical troubleshooting inquiries working under the direction of electrical system leads. Collaborate with suppliers and component subject matter experts to resolve electrical system concerns and supply chain sustainability issues. Support electrical system design concepts and prototype activities for new product introduction under the direction of electrical system leads. Lead small scale cross functional projects supporting key customer needs. Contribute to the expansion, maintenance, and operational use of the electrical hardware and harness room. What You Have (Core Skills)- Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems. Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation. Technical Excellence: Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges. Top Candidates Will Also Have Accredited Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (eg: Mechanical , Computer Agricultural or Materials Engineering. Experience troubleshooting electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and related equipment Working knowledge with electrical design processes such as HIL testing, electrical schematic interpretation / generation, and electrical magnetic compatibility testing. Travel: This position requires 5 days per week in the office (M-F) Summary Pay Range: $97,530.00 - $146,290.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
