About the role
As a Clinical Nurse Consultant in our team, you will oversee a Network providing high quality nursing care and leadership, support and guidance to clinical and non-clinical staff supporting excellence in client outcomes. The Clinical Nurse Consultant works collaboratively with operational leads, Care Governance and Quality team and the Clinical Education Team supporting the highest level of care delivery. A typical day in the role will see you: Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders providing high standards of leadership and expert clinical advice relating to complex clinical care issues Support the delivery of education to the wider team undertaking a wide array of clinical procedures and complex care needs Analyse key clinical metrics and trends including incidents, identifying and implementing quality improvement initiatives and outcomes working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders Implementing and supporting innovative ways of working to support the wider nursing and care service delivery including meeting operational targets ensuring the financial sustainability of the organisation Role requirements: Bachelor of Nursing, or equivalent qualification and current AHPRA registration Demonstrated clinical experience in areas of Community Services or related specialty Post-graduate studies in relevant health field associated with Community or Primary Care nursing or working towards.
