Position Summary This is a full-time, 12-month administrative position as Director of the Interprofessional Simulation and Skills Hub within MSU Denver's College of Health and Human Sciences. The position is jointly funded by the Department of Nursing and the College of Health and Human Sciences, reflecting the Director's dual responsibility for supporting nursing simulation activities and leading interprofessional simulation across the college. Thus, the Director is responsible for collaborating with the Nursing Simulation Coordinator, Department of Nursing leadership, College leadership, and other college program leaders in the direction and leadership of operational, financial, programmatic, and academic center operations to provide clinical, educational, and technical expertise in the development, implementation, and evaluation of simulation throughout undergraduate and graduate level programs within the college. The Director is responsible for working with staff, faculty, leadership, community stakeholders, and students to ensure that the highest-quality simulation learning activities are integrated and implemented throughout MSU Denver's College of Health and Human Sciences Interprofessional Simulation and Skills Hub. The range of duties and responsibilities is broad and varied, with a focus on improving patient care through innovation, education, quality improvement, and research development. The Director reports to the Chair of the Department of Nursing.
