Responsibilities

  • Duties and responsibilities will be in accordance with Article 22 of the Collective Agreement.
  • The marker-grader may be expected to invigilate mid-terms and examinations for this course, or enter grades into databases, at the request of the course instructor.

Requirements

  • Must have completed or be enrolled in CHYS 5XXX, CHYS 7XXX within the previous five years; OR Minimum 3rd Year complete in a CHYS BA, CHYS BA/BEd program, FPAC BA with an average of at least 80%; and have taken one of FPAC 3P91, CHYS 3P39, 3Q91, 3P43, 3P09, 2P38, or SOCI 2P38 (or equivalent) within the previous five years and achieved a grade of at least 80. Previous successful experience as a Marker-Grader in FPAC 3P91, CHYS 3P39, 3Q91, 3P43, or 3P09 will be considered as equivalent.
  • Must have effective communication skills including the ability to explain subject material to students. Provide, if available, an evaluation of successful previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or Marker- Grader.
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
