Join Nasdaq's Data Solutions team as an Investment Data Acquisition Analyst. Nasdaq is a global technology company delivering trusted investment intelligence across Public and Private Markets. Within Nasdaq, eVestment connects asset managers with consultants and asset owners through a leading institutional research platform. Our Data Solutions team play a meaningful role in ensuring that the data displayed on eVestment clearly reflects the strategies, performance, and value propositions that investment firms want to present to the market. This role sits at the center of those relationships, combining market knowledge, communication, and partnership.
Responsibilities
You will:
Act as a trusted partner to external stakeholders, explaining the eVestment value proposition, guiding firms through how their data is represented on the platform, and ensuring alignment between user expectations and platform capabilities.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with asset managers, consultants, and asset owners through regular outreach, education, and follow-up.
Serve as a point of contact for EMEA asset managers, helping them understand how their funds, strategies, and performance data are displayed and consumed on the eVestment platform and why it is important to keep profiles up to date.
Clearly communicate eVestment data standards, methodologies, and best practices to internal and external stakeholders, translating technical concepts into accessible, business-focused language.
Partner with internal Product, Client Success, and Revenue teams to ensure our clients and platform users have the tools that they need to be successful
Use SQL, the eVestment platform, and other analytical tools to support data reviews and investigations that advise both internal and external conversations and resolution
Act as a subject-matter expert on investment fund data across private equity, private credit, private assets, hedge funds, mutual funds, ETFs, and public strategies
Identify recurring questions or challenges faced by European asset managers and help shape clearer, more scalable data collection and presentation approaches
Provide guidance and informal mentorship to junior analysts, particularly around stakeholder communication and external engagement.
Support user and client inquiries through timely coordination, clear explanations, and thoughtful problem-solving
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Proven experience in investment data, financial services, or analytical roles with significant exposure to external stakeholders.
Proven experience working with Private and/or Public Markets fund data, including strategies, structures, and performance metrics.
Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish credibility and trust with asset managers, consultants, and asset owners.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly when explaining data concepts, methodologies, and platform value.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment with evolving requirements and competing priorities.
Ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively with global, cross-functional teams.
Curiosity about exploring AI-enabled capabilities to improve efficiency in data review, communication, and engagement workflows.
Experience supporting institutional investment research platforms or consultant-facing data products.
Prior experience working directly with European asset managers, consultants, or asset owners.
Familiarity with the European institutional investment landscape and regional market practices.
Experience mentoring analysts or leading externally focused workstreams.
Progress toward or completion of CFA, CAIA, CFA Investment Foundations, or CAIA Fundamentals of Alternative Investments.
Exposure to automation, large-scale data platforms, or workflow optimization.
Experience with SQL for data exploration and validation.
