You'll be right in the middle of drug discovery, developing the next generation of medicines.
Your main gig is making, running, and optimizing a ton of analytical and bioassays (cell-based, biochemical, complex in vitro ).
You'll be taking manual assays and turning them into super-efficient, automated processes-think moving from a bench to high-throughput screening with automated gear.
You'll need to nail the stats (Z'-factor!) and make sure everything is scalable.
Creating new assays from scratch (de novo development) is also on the list.
Documenting everything in the electronic lab notebook (ELN) for awesome data integrity.
Working with other teams, including the Discovery Sciences, Institute of Computation and Product Development crew.
You'll be a technical lead for the assay sciences team.
You'll also be managing external research partners (CROs) to make sure their data is top-notch.
