Responsibilities
- Unloading incoming freight, verifying product against enclosed packing lists, sorting material by end destination and putting away excess stock
- Using fork trucks and order picking equipment
- Ensuring proper quality, accuracy and timeliness of picking and delivery of customer orders
- Effectively managing inventory from receiving stage to shipping stage
- Maintaining the organization, cleanliness, and maintenance of the warehouse as requested by Warehouse Manager
- Managing inventory using Lumbermen's procedures and programs
- Accurately representing Lumbermen's by delivering exceptional quality and service to our customers when delivering products

- This position offers a $300 annual clothing allowance to offset costs for work apparel, protective footwear, and PPE.
- REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma
- Prior warehouse experience is preferred
- Valid drivers license
- REQUIRED SKILLS
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Safe working practices
- Accuracy and detail-orientation
- Inclination to do things right the first time
- Ability to accurately pull orders and load/unload trucks
- Ability to properly identify colors for the purpose of pulling orders
- PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Ability to do physical labor including lifting of up to 75lbs
- Ability to bend, twist, and stoop
- Ability to work on feet for 8-10 hours per day
