Responsibilities
- The re sponsibilities for this role are below ; you may support projects of varying complexity based on skill and organizational priorities.
- Build, refine, and interpret complex financial models to support client recommendations and transaction analysis.

- Mentor and guide Analyst I team members, providing feedback and support as needed.
- Other Duties: Performing other duties as assigned, adapting to new tasks or shifts in priorities as necessary to support your team's and the company's mission.
- MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance , Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2 -3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or a related field.
- Demonstrated academic or professional exposure to financial analysis and corporate finance concepts.
- Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 79, and Series 63 licenses required within Fifth Third guidelines .
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- REQUIRED SKILLS :
- Qualified candidates will bring emerging professional proficiency , generally acquired through 2 -3 years of relevant work or internship experience in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Advanced analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to synthesize financial data and trends.
- Strong command of financial modeling and valuation techniques.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Familiarity with financial databases and platforms such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or FactSet.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required securities licenses in accordance with company policy.

- SKILLS FOR SUCCESS:
- Successful candidates will demonstrate a higher degree of proficiency (typically from 1-3 years of practical experience or advanced academic exposure) across the following areas:
- Financial Modeling : Expertise in building and interpreting complex financial models for M&A, debt/equity issuance, and strategic planning.
- Due Diligence : Experience conducting in-depth credit, accounting, and legal due diligence to assess transaction viability and risk.
- Market Research : Ability to source, analyze, and synthesize market data, economic trends, and comparable transactions to inform strategic decisions.
- Client Communication : Skilled in preparing and delivering compelling pitch materials and market updates tailored to client needs and business objectives .
- Technology Proficiency : Advanced familiarity with third-party financial platforms and databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ) used in investment banking or corporate finance environments.
