Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience or combination of relevant comparable education and supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6) .

Extensive experience managing a large, complex fleet program, preferably in higher education, government, or a similarly regulated environment.

Strong knowledge of fleet lifecycle management, preventive maintenance programs, and asset management systems (e.g., IWMS/AiM or similar platforms).

Professional certifications such as Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM), Certified Public Fleet Professional (CPFP), or equivalent.

Demonstrated experience with regulatory compliance, including state reporting requirements and coordination with agencies such as FDOT.

Proven ability to develop and manage operating and capital budgets, including cost analysis, forecasting, and long-term capital planning.

Experience leading and developing teams, with a focus on performance management, safety, and high-quality service delivery.

Bachelor's degree in Fleet Management, Automotive Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

Special Instructions to the Applicants:

The full salary range for this position is $64,518 - $96,778. The final rate will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and internal equity considerations.

Position requires a valid Class E driver's license. The position may involve driving to various locations on and off campus to conduct University business.
