About the role

As an HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for aligning HR policies and practices with the needs and goals of the business units you support. You will also provide guidance and consultation to managers and employees on various HR matters, such as talent acquisition, talent management, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, learning and development, and diversity and inclusion. Role is 100% onsite in NW Houston, TX. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Partner with business leaders and managers to understand their strategic priorities, challenges, and opportunities, and provide effective HR solutions and recommendations. Coach and advise managers and employees on various HR topics, such as career development, feedback, performance improvement, and conflict resolution. Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conduct effective investigations, and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Coordinate the recruitment and selection process for the business units and functions, ensuring the attraction and hiring of qualified and diverse candidates. Support core people processes, such as succession planning, talent reviews, and performance appraisals as well as other HR initiatives and programs that support the business objectives and enhance the employee experience. Partner on the design and delivery of organizational development programs and interventions that address the current and future needs of the business and the employees. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes collaboration, diversity, and respect. Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement, and provide relevant reports and insights to stakeholders. Collaborate with other HR functions and teams to ensure alignment and consistency of HR services and practices across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role in a global and matrixed organization.
  • Certification in HR or related field is a plus.
  • Workday experience is a big plus.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and/or Portuguese is desired.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with managers and employees at all levels.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities with a high degree of professionalism and discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
