Job Summary
The Manufacturing Engineer will lead process improvement initiatives, develop efficient manufacturing methods, and support the implementation of new products and technologies. This role will be hands-on, interacting daily with production, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong technical and interpersonal skills who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Create documentation package and provide follow-up support for approval of customer submittal packages.
Release documentation such as component specifications, system drawings (General Arrangements), Bills of Materials, Process and Instrumentation Diagrams, and Operating and Maintenance Manuals.
Establish relationships with shop floor personnel in order to provide prompt information and direction to resolve issues during manufacturing.
Analyze, design, and implement manufacturing processes to optimize safety, quality, and efficiency
Collaborate with design engineers to ensure new and existing products are manufacturable and meet cost targets.
Develop work instructions, process flow diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and PFMEAs.
Lead and support continuous improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma tools.
Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions for process-related issues.
Specify, justify, and implement equipment and tooling to support manufacturing needs.

Support the launch of new or revised products, including pilot builds and first article inspections.
Train production personnel on new processes, procedures, and tools.
Monitor production metrics and proactively identify areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Key Competences
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing systems
