Director of Spirits is a high-impact role that sits at the intersection of supplier strategy, sales execution, and control-state customer management. The Director of Spirits will own key supplier relationships, lead the spirits sales team, and work directly with high profile customers to drive performance initiatives. Job Description: Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Work with supplier representatives to ensure smooth working relationships Manage, track, and allocate monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals Understand, develop, and ensure programs and tools are in place to deliver key sales objectives Develop, implement, and track new product launch plans Manage e xecut ion initiatives against supplier Brand Standards Consistent communication and information sharing with local supplier personnel Manage and create profitable pricing strategies and programming Set up new items , pricing structures, and manage inventories Collaborate with suppliers to efficiently disburse POS to the sales teams Maintain and develop accurate demand forecasts Work collaboratively with multiple internal and external partners Manage and direct the spirits brokerage s ales t eam by conducting regular work-withs and customer calls Develop a list of improvement or growth goals for each Sales Consultant and monitor pr ogress. Provide feedback direct reports on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis. Conduct weekly group and individual meetings; attend and take part in the development and preparation of meetings and presentations for the division Job Requirements: Prior supplier and/or sales management experience in the beverage alcohol industry a must Control states spirits background a plus Four Year Degree with a focus in Sales Management and/or Marketing preferred Strong negotiation skills required Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective time management and organizational skills Must be execution oriented with the ability to work independently Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel a must Must have a valid driver's license and practice safe working and driving habits Worker Sub-Type: Regular Time Type: Full time
