About the role

You will provide p atient-centered primary care and occupational health services, to employees at assigned Marathon Health Centers through an Employer-Sponsored Direct Primary Care. Occupational Health responsibilities include post-offer and pre-employment physicals, return-to-work and fit-for-duty evaluations, DOT physicals, and public safety and travel physicals. The role also includes administering vaccines and occupational health-related labs, performing drug and alcohol testing (including urine, hair, saliva, and breath alcohol testing), vision screening, tuberculosis (TB) testing, lift testing, hearing conservation programs, pulmonary function testing, and respirator fit testing. Additional responsibilities include HAZMAT and lead surveillance, work injury and exposure care, stay-at-work coordination, and development of work restriction recommendations and referral management. The physician will also support advanced occupational health reporting, including regulatory reporting, first report of injury documentation, workers' compensation and claims reporting, and OSHA log and recordability tracking. Appointments of 30-60 minutes allow extra time for the care team to spend with patients.
