Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
  • 3+ years of experience in a B2B sales role with demonstrated success in closing
  • Experience managing a book of business (retention + expansion) preferred
  • Strong ability to present value-based business cases to decision-makers
  • Solid financial acumen, including ability to articulate cost savings and ROI
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and develop data-informed account strategies
  • Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)
  • Experience or interest in education, public sector, or multi-site organizations preferred

We help school leaders save time and money by providing compliant, pre ‑ negotiated supplier contracts and hands ‑ on support. BuyQ combines deep education expertise with the scale and resources of CoreTrust. Reporting to the President of BuyQ , the Account Executive is responsible for retaining and growing contract revenue across an assigned portfolio of charter management organizations, private school networks, and individual school operators . This role serves as the primary account owner for a defined book of members and prospects within the education sector. The Account Executive drives the full sales cycle-from prospecting and opportunity development through deal execution and expansion -while delivering a strong member experience. Success in this role requires building trusted relationships with school leadership and operational decision-makers , including finance, procurement, operations, and administrative teams.
