Responsibilities

  • Baystate Health, Medical Assistants perform an important role providing care to our patients. They take vital signs, perform patient intake and history, clinical orders, procedures, documentation and patient discharge. Our supportive work environment allows you to provide optimal patient care.

  • Full-time, 40 hours a week
  • M- Fri 9a-5:30p
  • One evening shift per week (11a-7:30p) and rotating Sat (8a-12p)

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • CPR-Basic Life Support of Healthcare Provider required from the American Heart Association
  • LEVEL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
  • MAI & MAII- requires graduate of accredited MA program Or minimum of 3 years current relevant medical assistant experience in a medical practice setting. (evaluated by hiring manager for level hiring for)
  • MAIV - Only through promotional career ladder internally. Minimum of two years as an MAIII at a Baystate Health with demonstrated competencies for promotion to MA IV. Graduate of an accredited MA program and registered/certified by a third-party credential body.
