Here, you will make an impact by: Partnering with U.S. Plant HR on production compensation including external benchmarking as well as annual increase planning and implementation Supporting Workday compensation processes to ensure accurate administration, operational efficiency, alignment with compensation programs, and response to HR Help tickets Ensuring compliance with U.S. compensation-related legislation by conducting audits, monitoring regulatory developments, and initiating action plans as needed, while creating and maintaining policies in collaboration with legal and cross-functional partners Leading the creation of compensation communications, 3M Go content, and training materials, ensuring consistency and alignment with business objectives, while leveraging AI to enhance content development, streamline delivery, and improve the overall employee learning experience Providing consultation and support on key compensation processes and critical initiatives, while driving process improvement efforts in collaboration with internal partners across HR, IT and Legal Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) Five (5) years of cross-functional HR experience in a private, public, government or military environment Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Two (2) years global compensation experience in a private, public, government or military environment Knowledge of and experience with compensation programs and processes Solid project management and organizational skills Effective communication and relationship-building skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency in Workday and Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Word Work location: This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN.
