About the role
Laboratory Manager shall assist Branch Manager in the responsibility duties of the location. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Assuring that the Laboratory Department is providing a fast, efficient and accurate service to clients. Clients are to be kept satisfied with our service in order to ensure repeat business. Furthermore the laboratory manager is to ensure that the department is being run in a financially viable and controlled manner as required by the company. Is responsible for and takes care of running the operation at the lowest possible costs, while meeting the requirements for safety, quality of service, employee satisfaction and maintenance of assets. Laboratory Manager must ensure full cooperation with Branch Manager, General Manager and all other managers on all assignments. Must follow all company procedures as established by Saybolt and Core Laboratories, including but not limited to HSE Manual, Accounting Policies & Procedures, Saybolt Administration Instruction Letter, IT procedures, Ethics Policy, Saybolt Compliance Code, etc. Must keep himself updated and aware of all updates and act accordingly. Laboratory Manager reports directly to Branch Manager: Routine work. Extraordinary work (equipment, cost, tenders, etc).
