Title: Product Manager, Security Team Location: Dundee (hybrid) Grade: 12 Position summary & key areas of responsibility: - The position requires understanding of the Global Financial Self Service Market (specifically ATM's - industry, customer and competition) and NCR in-order to develop and manage opportunities to grow revenue and improve margins - The role is required to drive multiple programs at module and / or Product level to enable and ultimately create demand / results for Financial in targeted segments and geographies; Manage P&L's focused on profitable growth; Responsible for moving Modules and / or Products through NCR's Solution Lifecycle Management process - The role is responsible for Annual Business and Operational Plans including evolution of the strategy, market / competitive factors, revenue and investment projections, price / contract erosion, potential business development driven through Disruptive Innovation opportunities - The role is required to work with Sales, Services Design & Engineering, Service Delivery & Operations leadership and across Lines of Business to solve complex business issues - The role is responsible for specifying product requirements for current and future products by conducting market research through on-going communication with customers and industry analysts; Follows and analyzes market and competitive trends to ensure new product/functionalities meet customer needs - The role is responsible for the alignment of revenue and profit within part of the ATM portfolio, supporting all product portfolios - The role is responsible for driving the transformation of a Security Module or Product concept into a marketable solution with a cross functional team that includes members from engineering, marketing, services and finance - The role is responsible for analyzing potential partner relationships for modules and products in conjunction with the solution strategy and roadmap - The role is coordinates the creation of services offers including customer support and professional services - The role is responsible for all program metrics, including development schedule, cost, unit sales, revenue, margin, product quality, market share and customer satisfaction - The role gathers, prioritizes and documents product requirements and validates value proposition - The role supports and works directly with global sales organization for product training, sales strategy, customer presentations and RFP responses - The role provides direction, content and support for product marketing efforts including trade shows, marketing programs, webinars, and sales collateral - The role conducts negotiations and discussions involving internal associates and external suppliers - The role assists in the development of team members and evaluation of team member performance - The role has full P&L, Area Ready to Sell and Area Ready to Install accountability - The role is responsible for Cost Reduction for the portfolio - The role validates value propositions and develops business impact models The following knowledge and expertise would be an advantage in fulfilling this role : Knowledge of the Criminal Landscape in relation to ATM Fleets Experience with Security organisations - for example EAST, LINK, ATMIA etc. Knowledge of ATM Security Related Compliance and Standards Auditing Experience Cryptographic knowledge would be advantageous but not essential Experience/Qualifications: - Engineering related Degree and / or MBA - Minimum 3 years of related experience - Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills - Management of multi-disciplinary teams and development of team members; - Demonstrated ability to work with and/or through associates/parties in a cross functional work environment - Self-motivated with the ability to influence others, particularly across organizations - Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) - Proven track record of delivering results - Successfully managed complex programs across multiple organizations - Domain knowledge in Financial Self Service - Knowledge of NCR product platforms and solutions - Knowledge of WCS Services offerings #LI-Hybrid #LI-AG1 Offers of employment are conditional upon passage of screening criteria applicable to the job.
