Successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
Physically able to perform demanding outdoor tasks
Must possess a valid Class 5 driver's license
Provide a 3-year driver's abstract
Previous experience as a Traffic Controller or Flagging experience is a strong asset

Work Conditions
Applicants that are local may be given preference due to the location of the work (No Camp or LOA provided)
As LHL is obligated to respond to various weather patterns, some shift work, on-call, and night shift will be required
Will be provided a pay rate of $21/hr with increases based on experience
Night shift premium $3/hr
Opportunities to participate in a class 3 license upgrade program and mentorship in snow plow and equipment operation
Essential Responsibilities
Perform various highway maintenance tasks including crack sealing, asphalt patching, flagging, message painting , etc.
Assist with traffic control procedures
Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning of equipment
Perform other road maintenance duties as required
Work outside in all weather conditions
