Basic k nowledge of CAD Software and proper board design techniques preferred
Intermediate k nowledge of proper setup and use of Digital Volt Meters, Oscilloscopes, RF Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, and Network Analyzers required
Ability to identify any issues with equipment and needed supplies required
Intermediate experience soldering, writing reports, and reading schematics required
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred
Intermediate p roficiency with Lab View or other programming preferred

What You Will Contribute:
The Electronic Technician is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and repairing electronic systems and devices. This position will diagnose malfunctions, perform flow testing, and follow technical manuals to ensure proper functioning of equipment.
Job Duties:
Calibrate, test and trouble shoot products, evaluate, and document findings.
Operate sophisticated instruments (Spectrum Analyzers, Digital Oscilloscopes, Waveform Generators, Recording Instruments, etc).
Support Manufacturing in upgrades and analysis of manufactured products.
Solder through hole and surface mount components.
Assemble mechanical parts and wire components as in building Test Fixtures.
Follow schematics, board layouts, and assembly diagrams.
Critique the layout of the design with the Engineer prior to finalization.
Report accumulated data using Microsoft Office and a predetermined format.
Voice concerns with the engineer to identify any issues or concerns with the testing of a design or the design itself.
Specialize in areas where cross training may be needed in the case of absence or needing additional help.
Direct others in the proper procedures necessary to accomplish the task at hand.
Train Technicians on procedures and equipment.
Handle the procedures necessary to have equipment calibrated or repaired.
Education and Experience:
High School/GED required; Associate's Degree in Electronics or a similar field preferred
3+ years of experience in a technical role desired
