Yulista Holding LLC Regular Primary Function Serve as the subject matter expert for processes, administers, and tracks all employee FMLA, Workers' Compensation claims, ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) request, STD & LTD, and other leaves while ensuring compliance with applicable law and company policy. Consult with the Worker's Compensation administrator to submit new claims, manage leaves and payment activities. Enter new hire data into 401(k) third party administrator recordkeeping system. Work closely with Compliance to ensure all ERISA, FMLA, ADA, HIPPA requirements are met and adhered to. Work with Safety Team to ensure all required OSHA recordkeeping, postings, and reporting activities are current and complete. Administers all benefits plan for multiple subsidiaries and contracts including SCA and CBA contracts. Serve as primary contact for all benefits and leaves for employees and supervisors and managers. Ensures the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in HRIS system. Communicate with vendors regarding various issues to include enrollments, claims and claims disputes along with invoice reconciliation. Assist with annual Open Enrollment process and conduct all benefits-related onboarding activities. Travels to new locations for new contact set up to include benefits meetings as well as travel to contract locations for annual Open Enrollment. Create benefits materials for new hires, open enrollment, and recruiting candidates. Ensure employee benefits and medical files are maintained properly in a secure environment. May be required to perform other related duties to meet ongoing needs of the organization. Essential Duties Audit and reconcile plan enrollment and termination data. Audit and reconcile deductions and contributions in CostPoint. Audit and reconcile BEFs submitted to payroll. Prepare and/or audit check requests to be submitted to Accounts Payable for detailed accuracy per A/P processes, including: Benefit vendor payment. Benefit claims payment. Union payments: pension, dues, H&W. Other necessary benefit-related payments. Audit and reconcile FSA/HSA deductions to vendor upload files; oversee uploads are transmitted to vendor. Work closely with GL Benefit Accountants and assist with GL benefit reconciliations. Develop and maintain workflows on processes and procedures for benefits HRIS. Serve as Benefits Department POC/liaison with Finance Department regarding benefit related issues and pension audits. Assist with employee enrollments, open enrollment, and benefit orientations. Provide backup to other Benefit Department staff members. Provide assistance to update and maintain benefit records and other documents in compliance with applicable rules and regulations. Assist with annual 401(k) audits. Assist with compliance audits. Provide ongoing customer services with employees and Union/SCA representatives. Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Perform other duties as directed. Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory functions. Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities General knowledge of employee benefit and insurance plans, best practices, and state and federal compliance and the ability to learn and understand the Company's benefit plan. Knowledge of basic accounting and GL principles and practices. General understanding of benefit deductions/deduction set-up.
