Perform failure analyses of motors returned to St. Louis and drive corrective actions with Nidec plants
Conduct customer on-site visits to review Quality issues and drive improvement actions
Host periodic meetings with customers to review Quality metrics
Utilize problem-solving tools such as 5 Why Analysis, Fishbone Diagram, Pareto, etc.
Perform data analytics, reporting, and management presentations
Respond to customers' corrective action (SCAR/8D) requests
Work with Nidec St. Louis Engineers to support new product developments
Requirements
Strong knowledge on Quality Problem-Solving Tools and Statistics
Familiar with product reliability testing
Experience in motor assembly and manufacturing
Willing to travel, U.S. domestic and international
Able to work with global cross-functional teams
Certified Six Sigma Green Belt, preferred
Strong oral and written English language communication
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
Data analytics using MS Excel or Minitab
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
2+ years in Quality Assurance gained from working in motor manufacturing or similar field
