The Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering seeks applicants at all ranks with a distinguished academic record and exceptional potential for creative chemical and biological engineering research. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses and contributing to curriculum updates and innovations to educate a diverse student body; mentoring graduate students and supervising their research; developing and directing a well-recognized and extramurally funded research program; participating in departmental and university faculty governance; contributing to professional and public service; participating in interdisciplinary and collaborative efforts with other departments, schools, and colleges.
The Chemical and Biological Engineering Department has a long tradition of academic excellence in research and teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels; educating, mentoring, and inspiring future leaders; conducting research that is of vital importance to society; and serving Wisconsin, our nation, and the world through professional pursuits.
