Legal Associate / Lawyer - Handle Litigation & Disputes

Responsibilities

• Manage Shipping and International Trade disputes, including advisory and litigation support.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to shipping and international trade.
• Provide legal advice to internal stakeholders on compliance, risk mitigation, and best practices.
• Assist in arbitration, mediation, and other dispute resolution processes.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, briefs, and correspondence.
• Support senior lawyers in developing case strategies and managing client relationships.

Requirements

• 2-6 years Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) as a Singapore-qualified lawyer.
• Experience handling Shipping and International Trade disputes.
• Strong drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
