The Position In support of the firm's exciting growth opportunity in the US Wealth channel, we are currently seeking to recruit a high-quality Fund Product Analyst, to join our Funds team in the US. This individual will partner closely with our Fund Product Manager based in New York and support the continued build out of our US Funds platform alongside broader global Fund Product colleagues. Wellington Management sponsors over 300 commingled investment vehicles globally with AUM of over $150 billion. This role will play a key part in delivering against our growing '40 Act platform by supporting execution, coordination, and analysis across a range of commingled fund initiatives that will be offered broadly to US retail investors through a wide range of financial intermediaries. The Fund Product Analyst is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and ongoing management of Wellington's growing 1940 Act fund range, with a strong focus on execution, coordination, and process discipline. This role is intended to expand capacity within the US Funds team and directly support the Fund Product Manager and broader Funds group, in delivering against a growing pipeline of fund initiatives. job description This role reports to the Director of Fund Product and will work closely on a day-to-day basis with the Fund Product Manager (New York), acting as a key support resource across fund development and platform initiatives. The role will also partner with Wellington Management's '40 Act funds stakeholder group, comprising members of sales, product management, servicing, legal, compliance, risk, operations, and tax teams. Specific responsibilities include: Support and help coordinate the fund development and design process, ensuring timelines, inputs, and stakeholder deliverables are effectively tracked and progressed. This includes contributing to new product approvals, developing knowledge of target market objectives and constraints, navigating applicable regulations, analyzing competitors, and supporting platform build out while balancing commercial outcomes, scaling efficiently, and risk mitigation. Responsibilities also include preparing materials for internal governance forums and maintaining clear audit trails of decisions and approvals. Support the execution of all aspects of the fund launch, including structuring and fund terms, maintaining detailed launch plans, tracking milestones, and coordinating inputs across stakeholders. The role will also contribute to fund positioning in launch materials and client communications, with a focus on ensuring readiness across operational, legal, and distribution components, and that stakeholders are equipped to represent the fund to clients and prospects. Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency, consistency, and transparency across stakeholders, helping to institutionalize best practices and procedures as the platform scales. This includes supporting clear expectation setting around time to market, operational setup, reporting requirements, and issue resolution. Play a key role in coordinating the drafting, oversight, and maintenance of regulatory documentation, working closely with the Funds Legal team and other Fund Product colleagues. Changes may include: Investment policy updates, portfolio management changes, fee changes, guideline and dealing term updates, and regulatory-driven changes. Responsibilities include tracking these changes through governance processes and supporting timely and accurate implementation. Contribute to or coordinate drafting of required disclosure amendments to offering documentation, navigating these through relevant governance forums for approval and implementation, and ensuring consistency across supporting materials and marketing documentation. Develop subject matter expertise over time, supporting input and education for internal stakeholders across US Wealth topics, including vehicle structures, regulations, instrument eligibility, product trends, pricing, liquidity, and suitability, with guidance from senior Fund Product team members.
