Prepare and deliver lectures, assignments, and assessments in alignment with course objectives and department standards.
Facilitate student learning through clear instruction, meaningful discussions, and real-world applications.
Evaluate and grade student work in a timely , fair, and constructive manner.
Provide academic support through office hours or scheduled meetings.
Collaborate with the department chair and faculty to ensure course consistency and quality.
Submit final grades and any required reports by established deadlines.
Stay current with developments in the field and incorporate relevant content into the course as appropriate .
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required ; a Master's or Ph.D. in Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline is strongly preferred.
Professional experience in systems engineering or a related industry .
Prior teaching experience at the college or graduate level is preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills .
Ability to engage and support a diverse student population.
Additional Information:
This is a part-time, non-tenure-track position.
Courses may be taught in-person, online, or in a hybrid format, depending on program needs.
Adjunct appointments are made on a semester-by-semester basis.
