Platform Engineer - HFT, Digital Assets - Cadogan Solutions

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, low-latency infrastructure from first principles
• Develop systems for real-time data processing, streaming, and deployment
• Own platform architecture across research, development, and production
• Improve reliability, performance, and observability across the technology stack
• Collaborate closely with a small, high-calibre team on core technical direction
• Required Qualifications
• Strong academic background in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field from a prestigious university
• Strong software engineering fundamentals with distributed systems experience
• Hands-on experience building and running production systems
• Proficiency in at least one of: Python, C++, Go, or Rust
• Experience with real-time data systems and streaming architectures
• Experience in high-performance or data-intensive environments
• High ownership mindset, comfortable in an early-stage startup environment
