Salary: $15.00 to $18.63 per hour, DOE Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Golf Course Assistant Superintendent, the employee will perform grounds and facility maintenance at Lakeview Golf Course. This is an 8-month position that follows seasonal weather but may vary based on operational needs. Working hours include weekdays, weekends and some holidays. Mow greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and other turf areas using riding equipment Ability to safely operate lawn mowers and lawn care equipment Trim and edge around bunkers, cart paths, trees, and landscaping Daily golf course set up (changing hole locations, moving tee markers, raking bunkers) Assist with irrigation repairs, hand watering, and hose management Perform basic landscape and grounds maintenance tasks Use hand tools and power equipment safely and efficiently Clean and stock on-course restrooms Clean equipment daily after use Frequent lifting or moving up to 50 pounds and occasionally lifts or moves 100 pounds. Operate City vehicles and equipment as required for course operations Work outdoors in adverse weather conditions Communicate effectively and complete tasks in a timely manner Interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly and professional manner Work as part of a team and independently to maintain course conditions Support and maintain a safe, cooperative, and respectful work environment in compliance with all City safety policies and procedures. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, rules, policies, and regulations Assists with or performs other tasks as assigned or needed Job Specifications: High school diploma or equivalent 1-year of experience working on a golf course or in parks or landscape maintenance Licensing & Certifications: Possession of valid State of Idaho driver's license and safe driving record.
