About the role
The Employee Relations Assistant Manager leads employee relations programs and is involved in employee relations issue resolution in order to maintain employee engagement while minimizing costs and risks. The incumbent is responsible for the development of junior Employee Relations staff. E nsures administrative tasks are completed ( e.g. documentation for investigations) . D eliver other HR projects ( e.g. deliver harassment training) in a timely manner . Manag es , coaches, and develops Employee Relations staff reporting to this position. Other duties and projects as may be assigned. What You Need 9 + years progressive HR experience preferably in ER and management Certified Professional HR (PHR) , SHRM - CP or Senior Professional HR (SPHR) preferred Understanding of HR best practices and current regulations. A bility to establish strong partnerships with functional and business leaders to develop and execute on long and short-term HR strategies that directly support the business. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills . Strong written and verbal communication skills . Commitment to professionalism timelines accuracy follow-through and anticipating business needs . Strong analytical problem-solving and project management skills .
