About the role

You will serve as a HR SPECIALIST (BENEFITS/ER) in the CIVILIAN HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICE of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON. GS-9: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: applying fundamental HR principles, practices, and techniques related to performing management advisory services for specific requests related to immediate problems of limited scope; applying basic laws, regulations, policies and precedents of workplace injuries sufficient to counsel management and employee on program coverage and options and conducting research to gather clear-cut information. GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-05) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying HR principles, practices, and techniques related to performing management advisory services for specific requests related to immediate problems of limited scope; applying basic laws, regulations, policies and precedents of workplace injuries; and conducting research to gather clear-cut information.
