The Pharmacist Lead will have an emphasis in clinical strategy, operational leadership, cross-functional alignment, performance management, and executive support. Will be responsible for overseeing daily business operations through mentoring pharmacists and providing leadership to non-clinical associates to maximize facility production in compliance with applicable regulations and promote cost effective drug use. How you will make an impact: Serve as the strategic and operational partner to specialty pharmacy leadership, translating organizational priorities into actionable clinical initiatives. Lead the development, implementation, and oversight of clinical programs that improve patient outcomes, medication adherence, and quality performance. Coordinate enterprise-wide specialty pharmacy initiatives across clinical operations, provider engagement, payer strategy, quality, compliance, and technology teams. Monitor and evaluate specialty pharmacy performance metrics, identifying opportunities to improve quality, patient experience, access to therapy, and operational efficiency. Lead governance processes, executive reporting, and performance reviews related to specialty pharmacy clinical programs. Partner with medical, pharmacy, and population health leaders to develop evidence-based clinical strategies and care models. Serve as a liaison between leadership and frontline clinical teams, ensuring organizational priorities are effectively communicated and executed. Lead cross-functional problem solving for high-priority operational, clinical, and regulatory issues. Facilitate executive decision-making through data analysis, business case development, and presentation of strategic recommendations. Sponsor initiatives focused on health outcomes, patient engagement, medication safety, and equitable access to specialty therapies. Partner with analytics teams to establish outcome measurement frameworks and demonstrate clinical and economic value. Support payer, manufacturer, and provider partnership strategies by providing clinical expertise and program leadership. Represent specialty pharmacy leadership in executive committees, enterprise workgroups, and external stakeholder engagements. Lead special projects and enterprise transformation efforts that advance the organization's specialty pharmacy vision and growth strategy. Ensure clinical operations are aligned with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices while maintaining a patient-centered focus. Coordinates daily scheduling issues and standards of practice for clinical and non-clinical associates. Provides work direction, training and development of associate. Contributes input to performance reviews. Acts as a liaison and interacts with other functional areas to lead development of technical process updates. Chairs project teams. Leads the creation and filling of staffing models, based on business needs. Minimum Requirements: Requires BA/BS in Pharmacy and a minimum of 3 years of experience in working with mail service operations related pharmacy experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
