Person Specification

Requirements

BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent.
HCPC registered Radiographer.
Postgraduate CT qualification (desirable).
Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS) certificate (desirable).
Leadership/management certification (desirable).
Extensive experience in CT imaging in a busy hospital or diagnostic centre.
Experience in private healthcare desirable but not essential.
Ability to lead teams and supervise radiographers.
Experience in developing protocols

As a Senior Radiographer at our hospital, you'll have a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent), be registered with the HCPC, have a postgraduate qualification and high levels of technical knowledge. Ideally, you'll also have Radiation Protection Supervisor training and qualification, as well as the ability to work accurately and compassionately. The CT Lead Radiographer is responsible for providing expert clinical leadership, ensuring the delivery of a high‑quality, patient‑centred CT imaging service within a private healthcare environment. The postholder oversees the day‑to‑day running of the CT department, optimises workflow to support both inpatient and self‑pay pathways, and ensures an exceptional customer experience. They lead on CT protocols, staff develpment, service improvement, and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
