Responsibilities
- Strategy (Led by Head of Retail Consultancy)
- Work with the Head of Retail Consultancy in preparing strategic positioning studies, tenant mix plans, and asset enhancement recommendations.
- Assist in translating strategic outputs into actionable implementation plans.
- Implementation of Strategic Recommendations
- Lead the execution of approved strategies including:
- Tenant mix rollout
- Lease-up phasing and timeline planning
- Brand targeting and recruitment strategies
- Business Development & Client Advisory
- Develop long-term client partnership with developers, REITS and institutional landlords.
- Drive proactive outreach to targeted retailers, F&B groups, lifestyle brands, and pop-up concepts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brands and operators to support long-term leasing pipelines.
- Provide strategic advice on market entry, site selection, and portfolio optimization for brands and operators.
- Identify new business opportunities in retail consultancy, repositioning, project leasing and portfolio optimisation.
- Transaction Management
- Drive the full cycle of retail transactions: prospecting, outreach, negotiation and closing.
- Oversee deal documentation and ensure compliance with internal standards.
- Act as day-to-day lead on implementation and occupancy phases of consultancy mandates.
- Market Intelligence & Financial Analysis
- Monitor and analyze retail market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
- Prepare financial models, leasing comparisons, and high-quality client presentations.
- Team Leadership
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to team growth.
- Collaborate across service lines to deliver integrated real estate solutions.
- Contribute to building the team's revenue generation and brand intelligence capability.
- Minimum 8 years experience in the Retail real estate industry with strong deal execution and brand network (Candidates with less experience could be considered as Senior Manager)
- Valid EAA license holder
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Experience supporting or executing strategic retail consultancy work is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and lead in a fast-paced environment.
