Summary of the Role As Regional Manager for Training and Education, you will lead the development and execution of the T&E Strategy for Terumo Interventional Systems (TIS) in Asia Pacific. You will be responsible for developing and executing the Training and Education Strategy in collaborative partnership with the Regional Medical Affairs and Marketing teams. You will be expected to efficiently manage assigned training budgets to support business objectives. This includes the implementation and management of training programs for internal and external stakeholders. You will demonstrate growth mindset and drive continuous improvement to establish and enhance SOP - by collaborating with cross-functional and country teams for commercial excellence and ongoing processes to drive results. Key Functions / Responsibilities 1. Execution of Training Programs To prepare a list of trainers / faculty for training for various expertise areas / businesses / thematic areas To plan and organize training programs in coordination with the Regional Education Network and TASL coordinator:- To support in marketing and promotion of new products To provide guidance to TASL coordinator for sending invites, program details and pre-work to the participants. To ensure, through TASL coordinator that travel and stay arrangements are made and communicated to the trainers/ speakers and internal/ external participants, in a timely manner, as per the requirements To ensure, through TASL coordinator, end-to-end logistics management for the training programs To collect feedback about the training conducted, in terms of content, infrastructure, trainer effectiveness, etc. 2. Planning and Process Development for Training Development of a framework and SOPs for education and training for internal and external participants. To prepare the training plan and calendar Developing Curriculum for Training & Education Programs Plans for training budget To improve and track effectiveness through feedback collected from participants, to identify and work on the areas of improvement 3. Development of the Regional Education Network To build the REN to improve the standards across TAP Learning from Exchanges within and with Global Education Network and bringing best practices to TAP Evaluating Training innovations in similar industries and bringing best practices Forging new partnerships with potential partners - Scientific Bodies, Other Companies in med tech 4. Management & Improvement of Training Infrastructure Including the devices / machines, training materials, etc. To provide requirements to TASL coordinator for procurement of devices machines and other supplies Maintenance of Suitable Inventory Levels for smooth execution of training programs Develop and adopt new age digital tools to facilitate T&E effectiveness in TAP 5. Knowledge Management and Reports To ensure regular updating and proper maintenance of the training database and knowledge repository, including data pertaining to participants and trainers, training content and collaterals, training feedback, training related documents, etc. To ensure preparation and reporting of monthly/ quarterly MIS for training held for each business, as per the defined format, To collect the filled-in Attendance sheet, Training Evaluation and Feedback forms and any other documents, on completion of the session, through TASL coordinator Key Technical / Functional Skills Proficient in effective adult-learning training methods and techniques Knowledge of learning management systems Knowledge of Simulation Based Training in Medical Devices industry. Ability to engage effectively with KOLs, Physicians and Nurses Education & Experience Minimum Bachelor's in Education, Biomedical and/or relevant Science related degree. Approximately 10 years of relevant experience in medical device / pharmaceutical industry. At least 5 years of Adult-Learning and Training experience.
