This role combines strong people leadership with deep technical investment controlling expertise and is a key leadership position in Dublin, acting as a trusted right hand to the Head of Financial Operations Dublin.
The successful candidate will act as the senior Private Equity and Private Credit fund control lead in Dublin, leading and developing a small team of around 5-6 people while remaining close to the detail. The role carries accountability for regulatory oversight, service provider management, and the delivery of high-quality financial and investor reporting across complex fund structures, and requires a technically strong, hands-on leader who can provide clear day-to-day guidance, foster team engagement, and support meaningful career development through an approachable leadership style.
Key responsibilities will include:
Oversee day-to-day investment controlling activities, including NAV review, performance reporting, and investor reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Review and approve work prepared by team members, ensuring quality, consistency, and adherence to internal standards.
Review complex transactions, valuations, and cash flow activity, and provide technically sound guidance on fund control matters.
Act as the primary escalation point for issues involving fund administrators, auditors, and internal stakeholders.
Lead, coach, and develop team members, set clear priorities, and support career progression within a high-performing and approachable team environment.
Drive process improvement initiatives to streamline workflows, strengthen controls, and support automation across Private Markets Operations in the region.
Partner with technology, platform teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to implement system enhancements and improve operational scalability.
Act as a trusted deputy to the Head of Financial Operations Dublin, helping to drive prioritisation, decision-making, and execution across the function.
Support strategic initiatives, including platform upgrades, new product launches, and changes to accounting or valuation frameworks.
