Assistant Logistics Manager (Chemical / Dangerous Goods) #NJN

Requirements

• At least a Degree in Supply Chain or related fields
• Experience in chemical Dangerous Goods (DG) / is a must
• Experience in Logistics in Chemical manufacturing, import/ export, LC, direct liaise with freight forwarders
• Knowledge in ERP System (either SAP or Oracle )
• Able to start on short notice highly preferred

Location: Jurong East Working hours: 9am - 6pm (Mon - Fri) Job Scope Process orders received from sales or customers for APAC customers Liaise with respective parties Consolidations of orders to the best possible extent Follow up on orders and shipping documents for on time receiving and invoicing and sales recognition Liaise with warehouse for the most cost-effective order preparation, to meet customer requested date Sourcing of the most cost-effective transporter and forwarder to fulfill customers' orders timely Coordinate incoming import Isotanker port clearance and delivery to customer to avoid port demurrage Evaluate and monitor the transporter / forwarder performance Timely and accurate GRN for real time stock status Provide shipping documents to customers, prepare insurance for each shipments
