Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in finance, accounting, FP&A, capital planning, fixed asset accounting, or a related analytical function.
Experience supporting capital expenditure management, budgeting, forecasting, or project-based financial analysis preferred.
-Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large data sets and identify key insights. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling, pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis techniques.
Experience with financial systems such as SAP, Hyperion, Oracle, or similar ERP and planning tools is preferred.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting tight deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
Highly detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in restaurant, retail, franchise, hospitality, or multi-unit operating environments is a plus.
Salary:
Base salary range of $85,000 - $100,000. Base salary for this position may vary based on relevant factors

Job Summary: The Senior Analyst, Capital Spending plays a critical role in supporting capital planning, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis across Restaurant Brands International and Burger King. This position is responsible for monitoring capital expenditures, maintaining capital project reporting, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and providing actionable insights to business partners and finance leadership.
The role partners closely with Corporate Accounting, Development, Construction, IT, Shared Services, and other cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, adherence to U.S. GAAP, and effective management of capital investments. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and financial modeling skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
RBI follows a 5-day, in-office work schedule to support collaboration. Candidates should be comfortable working onsite 5 days per week.
Roles & Responsibilities
Support month-end and quarter-end close processes related to capital expenditures, fixed assets, depreciation, and amortization, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Maintain and reconcile capital project activity, validating project spend, investigating variances, and ensuring accurate capitalization of assets.
Partner with Corporate Accounting, Shared Services, and business stakeholders to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual capital spending reports, including actual versus budget analyses and executive reporting packages.
Support the development of annual capital budgets, periodic forecasts, and long-range capital spending plans in partnership with business leaders.
Analyze capital investment trends and project performance, providing recommendations and insights to support decision-making.
Assist business partners with project budget development, capital requests, financial analysis, and investment evaluations.
Develop and maintain financial models supporting capital planning, depreciation forecasting, and project prioritization.
Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, automate recurring analyses, and enhance data quality across capital management activities.
Prepare presentations and supporting analyses for Finance leadership and business stakeholders, communicating financial performance and key drivers effectively.
Participate in special projects and ad hoc analyses as required.
