4+ years of building scripts, tooling, and automation for large-scale computing environments experience
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or relevant work experience
Experience with service-oriented architecture and web services
Experience maintaining the resilience and reliability of services by troubleshooting deployment failures, creating infrastructure as code, creating resources (alarms, metrics, IAM role credentials), infrastructure provisioning and patching hosts
Experience designing and developing scripts to automate operational burdens and reviewing scripting changes to ensure they meet the standards for maintainability, scalability and security
Experience working in 24/7 production environment

The Availability tech team is seeking a System Engineer to design, develop, and implement software tools that streamline operations by automating tedious manual processes.
Key job responsibilities
As a System Engineer, you will:
Design software tools using advanced automation methods such as Agentic AI
Work with business stakeholders to understand the opportunities to automate the manual work and streamline the process
Develop and maintain software pipelines using best practices for smooth production code release.
Suggest and implement best practices for coding, design and operational excellence.
Mentor engineers and develop them
